Egg and Soldiers offers workshops and online courses providing the skills to independently cook at home. Founded in 2012, by Susannah Anderson and Jo Schuberth, we are a well-established cookery business, with previous experience in running cookery clubs and courses.
Susannah graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BSc Hons in Hotel and Catering Management and has worked in the catering industry ever since. From running chalets during ski seasons to working in 5-star hotels Susannah has always been around a busy kitchen.
Jo, equally as passionate about food, brings the business head to the table with a degree in Business Management and experience in all things Project Management, although food has always been at the heart of her soul.
Egg & Soldiers came to life after both Susannah and Jo started families and were looking for a new chapter in their lives. To be teaching cookery is a dream come true, and our aim is to make cookery fun, but equally to teach a life skill that will stay with their students for ever.
