Cookery is always a popular choice for the Skills requirement of the DofE Award, and from our experience of cooking with young people, we know the sense of achievement they get from cooking great recipes, as well as building skills that will stay with them for life.
We offer courses suitable for those taking part in the Bronze or Silver Award. For participants undertaking the 3 month option for their skills requirement choose one course, and for the 6 month option choose two courses from the following:
DofE Course 1
The recipes are delicious and nutritious and have become family favourites amongst our students. Course 1 is suitable for beginners. The course content is shown below:
